Greek Life
Phi Sigma Rho strives to embody the four pillars of fraternity and sorority life, which represent the values of the UConn Greek Community.
Scholarship
Academic study or achievement; learning of a high level.
Scholarship is one of the most important aspects of a college students life. Many of our sisters maintain high GPA's and are member of honors societies, while still being active in Phi Sigma Rho. We encourage academic excellence from rewarding A's and B's to helping with time-management. Sisters are encouraged to become members of other academic organizations and participate in exciting internships and research opportunities.

Leadership
The action of leading a group of people or an organization.
Phi Sigma Rho offers many rewarding leadership opportunities, whether in the sorority or beyond. Sisters have served in such positions as Panhellenic Council, Greek Week Management Team, Recruitment Management Team, Husky-THON Management Team, and many more. As a smaller sorority, it it much easier to get a leadership position within the sorority serving as a delegate, director, or an executive board position. Learn more about our leadership positions on our officers page.

Sisterhood
The relationship between sisters.
Sisterhood is one of the most important aspects that bonds a sorority because sisters are for life. Many sisters interest in Phi Sigma Rho came from their desire for the strong bonds that sisterhood creates. From your first semester to long after you graduate, you will continue to have the love and support of all your sisters.

Service
Phi Rhos are constantly giving back to the community. Sisters participates in all kinds of community service throughout the year. In the past, we have participated in events like Light the Night and Relay for Life. Phi Sigma Rho even cleans our section of the highway on nice weekends during the semester as a part of the Adopt-A-Highway Program.
